Roving storage & transport

For the storage and delivery of roving Autonational has two types of creels in the portfolio;

1. Pull-out: The roving is pulled out of the centre of the doff. The roving tension is controlled with adjustable friction bars.

2. Pull-off: The doffs are placed horizontally. The roving is pulled from the outside. The roving tension is servo controlled.

Transport systems for transport of the roving from the doff to the mandrel are designed to minimise the risk of fibre damage. Mutual contact and friction between rovings is minimised. The system is user friendly and orderly so that the large number of rovings can easily be applied without mistakes.
